Bwindi Coffee Growers’ Cooperative Society is a cooperative in Bwindi, Kanungu, Western Uganda. Founded in 2016, it has 577 registered members. Coffee types: Arabica and Robusta. Process: Washed and Naturals. Currently in the process of obtaining Organic certification.

About the Cooperative
Bwindi Coffee Growers Cooperative Ltd was founded in January 2019 with 65 shareholders and has grown to 577 members (118 women, 90 youth under 30). The farms run along the borders of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Kanungu District, home to mountain gorillas and chimpanzees. Partnerships include UCDA, Kanungu Local Government, Gorilla Coffee Conservation, Progreso, Solidaridad and Quinta Coira (Roasters United); registered under the Uganda Cooperative Alliance and recognised by MTIC.
